She is now a special education teacher. She began her remarkable special education journey when she was three years old. She told her fourth-grade teacher she wanted to be a teacher to help kids like her. Learning to read and write was a struggle for her. Being bullied and made fun of for going to the “dumb class” is still in her mind.
