A new resource for coaches of girls’ sports: hear about BSN’s new SURGE program
THSCA’s Libby Pacheco discusses the new format of The Coaches Call podcast with Chris Doelle. Then she discusses the new SURGE program that is being offered as a free resource for coaches and athletic directors to help tackle the issues of coaching female athletes. Aaron Hart from Varsity Brands discusses the program and gives specific examples of the kind of resources the program provides. Listeners can learn about how to help manage their athlete’s and team’s emotions as well as other suggestions for dealing with the female team.
