- Victoria Generals are back in action, playing “Warriors weekend” with a jersey sale to raise funds for Warriors Weekend. Game time is 7:00 PM, free ticket night.
- Hamburger night at the Veterans VFW Hall (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Chamber luncheon.
- Events at the library and the Children’s Discovery Museum.
- Bingo at KC Hall.
- Chris is going to see Rodney Rather of Texas Tree Cycle this afternoon for a ride-along.

- Chris’s personal plan: Spending the day with his grandson, Barrett (Baby Bear). No business.
- Gatsby Glitz: A Roaring Jazz Affair: Women’s Express Network event (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the community center). Gary Moses is one of the models for Dillard’s. Raises funds for scholarships.
- Crossroads Cruisers Car Club Meeting: At “Another Poor Decision” downtown (7:00 PM). Donating $2,000 from their recent car show to Adopt a Pet.
- Hurricane Preparedness Event: At Marada East (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), offering kits.
- Various events at the library and Children’s Discovery Museum.
- Friday (Friday the 13th):
- FIRE Meeting (Friday Inspire, Renew, and Excel): Hosted by Chris’s Business Success Academy Facebook page (Zoom call). Topic: “Niche or Die” – choosing a business niche.
- Victoria Mall Summer Kids Club: With the library (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM). Arts, crafts, “flowers in the sun.”
- Victoria Public Library Fun Friday: “Splatters Art” (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM).
- Home Depot Kids Workshop: At the library (3:30 PM – 4:30 PM).
- Jam Night (Open Mic): At the library (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Copperhead Jones: At Dodge City Saloon (8:00 PM). Features “Blame the Comic.”

- Dacosta Volunteer Fire Department Annual Barbecue and Auction: At Dacosta Hall (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, auction starts 5:30 PM).
- Sunday (Dad’s Day/Father’s Day):
- Dad’s Day at the Ballpark: Victoria Generals game (7:00 PM). Kids can play on the field.
- KC’s Pork Chop/Pork Steak Plate Fundraiser: Starts 9:00 AM until sold out.

- Monday & Tuesday: Another round of various camps (roller camps, A to Z camps) across local museums and venues.

- TLSN Legends Golf Classic: This golf tournament, which supports people in UT athletics who may be facing hard times, will be held on Sunday, September 15th, at Great Hills Country Club in Austin, Texas.
- Registration begins at 11:00 AM, with tee time around noon, and an awards ceremony at 6:00 PM.
- Every team will have the opportunity to play with a UT sports legend, including basketball, football, tennis players, and coaches like Rudy Tomjanovich.
