Danks shares anecdotes from his childhood in a Kentucky funeral home, his journey to becoming a Longhorn under Coach Abe Lemons, and his experiences with the team’s historic 1977-78 season, which included winning the NIT. He also discusses his post-college career and his family’s athletic achievements, including his sons’ professional baseball careers and his daughter’s All-American volleyball career. The podcast also promotes the upcoming TLSN Legends Golf Classic, an event designed to support the organization’s mission.
